Hello Mr. Roy,
Thank you so very much for allowing me to be part of your wonderful
weekend. I like the fact that you allowed me to be put to work; I'm just
sorry that I ran out of steam on the Monday & we kept missing each others
calls. Thank you for letting me meet so many wonderful people. It was an
honour to be able to work with all of your Jersey contingent to make last
weekend such a success. Everyone at the Mayfair were great to socialize
with along with Mr & Mrs Poland's group. I must say that they were most
generous in making me feel at home.
Mr Pick & his wife were the first to chat with me at the hotel & to
introduce themselves and the other Kenpo instructors to me, on the Tuesday
night. It was an honour to be able to be in the instructors group with
such great people.
Please give my thanks to all of your people. All of the best to you, Linda
and the Danger Dogs. Perhaps, most humbly, I can be of some assistance
again in the future. Thank you again, Roy.
Respectfully, your friend,
Bill

Roy, Richard and team,
Maybe a bit late, but I found this feature just now.
Thank you and your team very much for one of the best organized (and
biggest) events I ever attended.
The training sessions were awesome, as well as the lectures!! I met loads
of old friens and made quite some new ones, and a great time all together.
I can't wait till tghe next occassion, although it will be hard to live up
to the expectations that were raised this year.

Marcel

Hi - just a quick note to thank you and your team for organising last
week-ends championship - my son trains with Simon and Duncan, and this was
his debut competition, (and mine!), and I was tremendously impressed with
the level of organisation, and how you kept pretty much to time on Saturday
- not sure you could have improved things. The opening ceremony was great,
(if early in the day), and the ongoing presentation of medals was a good
idea. My son Myles was lucky enough to get a bronze medal in the 7-8
individual sparring, and as only a white belt, he was over the moon and is
sleeping with his medal!
Thanks again for all of the effort - I hope that you felt that it went
well.
Best wishes.

Hiya Roy,
Unfortunately Mervyn and myself could not find you last night to say
goodbye. Just wanted you to know that we had a great time, meeting up with
people we had not seen for 15/20 years was a delight. Congratulations on
pulling off a wonderful event, the students that I brought over enjoyed it
immensly. You must have worked your socks off and all credit to you and
your team. You would have made Mr Parker very proud, but then he knows as
he was there in spirit.
Salute

Dear Roy, Brian, Karl, Sandra and everybody at the JKKA,
On behalf of the Ermitage team, I wanted to congratulate you all for
organising such a first-class World Championships!
As Roy commented in last night's JEP, we have never seen Fort Regent so
busy
and the Queens Hall so full of people.
Ermitage was proud to to be associated with this historic event and the
JKKA team.
Our staff and friends who visited throughout the day (and the early birds
who saw Saturday morning opening ceremony!) really enjoyed it. For many it
was the first time they had seen competitive Kenpo Karate, and
the dedication and skill involved. I particularly enjoyed the Hungarian
demonstration on Sunday evening - which was brilliant.
From our point of view, the commitment, energy and assistance shown by
you and the JKKA team was commendable - thank you all for making it such a
pleasure for Ermitage to be involved.
Make sure you all take a well earned rest before your next event!!
Kind regards
Steve

Dear Roy, fantastic, marvellous, great,
all my students are very happy and already so sad to be here!
For you, it's certainly now the best moment to stay a little quiet with
your family! ( so sorry with this email)
Monday, before to take the ferry, I met Emma with his class and his teacher
! We discussed with Emma a little and she took a picture with my little
children, Marion!(I'll send you soon)
Emma is interested to learn french and if their parents are agreed, it'll
be good if girls meet sometimes for holidays! Emma in Belgium and after
Marion on Jersey! Why not!
So, it's another discussion but only another thing: La Ferrara Carmelo, 3rd
in form, yellow belt and 8 years old is not on the list of the result!
If you have time, can you please put his name!
It'll be a good souvenir for him!
I put all this information on my web site and I wish also to say you thank
you for your kindness and yours disponibilities!
All the masters were super and my students made 15 hours of training!
Impossible to be with all!
At soon and I hope in holiday there

Mr. MacDonald,
Mr. & Mrs. Pick, Mr. Buonfiglio and myself wanted you to know how grateful
we were to receive your dignified graciousness and generous hospitality.
From the moment we left our country we all felt well taken care by you in
yours. Also, all of your team sincerely contributed to our experience.
Keilly was very helpful, Dawn was quite accomidating and Richard Matthews
could not have gone more out of his way with his driving us around from
meals to tourists sites and simply making sure we were well taken care of
by
everyone in the name of Jersey Kenpo. Everyone on your team always made
it
a point to tell us that Mr. MacDonald wanted us to be cared for, and cared
for we were. You entire design has reminded us how much we need to pick
up
the slack, as your entire gathering seemed nothing short of an
International
American Kenpo Olympiad.
Respectfully,
WI, AP

Hi Roy
I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much Jenni and I and
our group enjoyed the event, it was run impeccably and all seemed to go
so well, I know there must have been some problems some where. You also
had a great team helping, those I know are Richard, David Williams and
his wife. They are all great people and a credit to the event.
That is the way events like this should be run well done to all.
On a personal note, I would like to thank you and Richard for the
invitation to teach and share my Kenpo.
Highest regards
Kevin

Hello Roy, I am not sure if you recieved my e-mail on my return to
the US, so I am sending a return to this e-mail address and hopefully
you will get it.
I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you so much for allowing
me to be part of the Historic event last week, for setting up the
Karattack class, the TV interviews and for the hospitality you showed
me, what a way to return to Jersey! It will never be forgotten. It
was great to see my first Kenpo teacher again after all these years,
you are a true gentleman and inspiration to all in the Kenpo world,
your super human efforts an example to us all of what can be
achieved. I look forward to visiting Jersey again in the near
future, it is still the heart of European Kenpo and touched all who
visited from the US. Mr Parker was definitely looking down smiling
(nice touch by the way).
Salute.

Dear Mr. McDonald,
We all enjoyed all the events, seminars, Championships, brotherhood dinner,
… for some of our students it was the first time in an international event
and they were fascinated. Unfortunately we hardly had time to visit your
wonderful island, that’s why we all committed to go back in a near future.
Many thanks for your hosting in our visit!!
